I am hunting for some fascinating idea’s of basic 1 individual supper ideas that are great for very hot evenings. Some idea’s that are a little bit distinct from the traditional potato and macaroni salads and jell-o would be excellent. Many thanks!

Our daughter life by yourself and will not have AC, and I grocery shop with her occasionally. Her dinners when it’s very hot are interesting.

Rotisserie chicken bought soon ahead of supper, in addition bag salad and a microwaveable side dish.
Fancy cheese, baguette slices, and grapes.
Brie and h2o crackers, with new berries.
Salmon salad, like tuna only with salmon, on sourdough roll or bread.
Chicken salad making use of leftover rotisserie chicken, some mayo, environmentally friendly pepper, celery, onion, and grapes, possibly some mandarin oranges or pineapple.

Query by his enjoy: What is your preferred meal blend of all time?
I can not even give a straight response for this a single, because I love so many things so significantly. A single meal I truly like is grilled chili dogs with potato salad, baked beans and chips. Another preferred is the basic fried hen, coleslaw and biscuit food- but insert baked beans and potato salad yet again! Too many to choose from- what are some of your favored meal combonations? Be specific

I like akaMARYN idea of rotisserie chicken and add perhaps a cold Hawaiian roll with butter. For desert a large portion of any kind of melon served ice cold.
I think I’ll practice that when I come home from work on Monday.

I just love beans and franks. Sometimes I like franks and beans. This is easy for me to prepare because I can remember how to do it.

It certainly is not hot dogs. Are you serious? Hot dogs are actually one of your “favorite” foods? GROSS That is one of the cheapest most disgusting food products ever invented.

For me it would be an 8oz filet mignon medium rare with an Austrailian lobster tail and asparagus hollandaise and garlic mashed potatoes made from small red potatoes with the skin on.

I’m a lot like you, but my ‘list’ of ‘favorite meals’ is a bit ‘higher in standard’ than yours … I love a ‘supper’ of Oyster Stew with sourdough bread and butter, and maybe a ‘salad’ on the side. I love ‘Popcorn shrimp’ with a salad on the side. I love ‘salmon’ that has been ‘sauteed in butter and wine’ with a salad (no starch, but I’ll eat ‘more’ at breakfast or lunch to make up for that) … and yes, I realize that these are all ‘fishy’ meals, but RIGHT NOW I love ‘fish’ more than any other ‘meaty thing’ … in a few weeks that could ‘change’ and I’ll want more ‘lamb’ or more ‘beef’ or more ‘pork’ … although never quite as much as I love ‘fish.’ I cooked for my four kids and ‘all of their friends’ and now I’m ‘retired from the kitchen’ … my husband goes to work and comes home and cooks our ‘supper’ … but he was a professional chef for many years, who now works as a ‘web developer’ so I get all of the ‘benefit’ of his ‘past profession.’ YUM.
